“ Visit on Thursday, May 11, 2023 I inquired by email in advance of my visit and subsequently received a confirmation by phone. When I arrived, the restaurant, which has a typical community hall atmosphere, was packed except for two tables. I had chosen a very good day, as today was the "senior citizens' meeting," but they were just about to finish and were about to leave. The employee '1', who showed me my table and handed me the menu, immediately asked for my first drink order, also informing me that it would take a while because she was currently handling the billing for the senior citizens' meeting, but that she would be available shortly. In addition to this employee, there was another employee on site, who only served plates or cleared the table. To distinguish between the two, I'll use employee '1' and '2' in the text for clarity. After studying the menu and the "Chef's Recommendations" card on-site, I noticed that, unlike the online menu, it doesn't match 100% – this should be corrected. Order: > Pinot Noir Weißherbst (Winzergenossenschaft Oberkirch) 0.25 l for €5.00 > Soup of the day for €5.00 >> Cream of asparagus soup; the employee told us "2" upon request -> Improvement: This should be communicated to the guest immediately when the order is taken; it's not a big deal for the kitchen to pass this on to the service staff – this way, it was a kind of additional route to the guest with the soup information. > 1/2 dozen snails with herb butter and bread for €8.50 > "Large colorful seasonal salad platter" for €9.50 >> After I was served the soup of the day, employee '1' asked me if I had been told that each guest could put together their own salad at the "salad buffet." >> I replied no, stating that I generally don't like "salad buffets." The employee immediately informed me that this was okay with her, as it was an error on employee '2's part, and in this case, the salad platter would be prepared for me in the kitchen. > Bounty ice cream for €6.50 >> the online menu says "Creme Brulee" >> this resulted in employee '1' coming to my table after check-in and asking where I had read about the Bounty ice cream, and I stated it was from the menu here. -> when employee '1' brought dessert to the table, she said "Surprise Bounty ice cream" > Ramazzotti 2 cl for €3.50 Summary: > Update online menu and on-site menu > Soup of the day, inform the guest immediately about the soup > Note salad plate from the buffet > Checked between courses to see if everything was OK > Service very friendly and personally attentive to each guest > Cream of asparagus soup, homemade, very delicious :-) > Snails, in snail shells and very large, good quality :-) > Salad plate, good and acceptable for the price > Bounty ice cream, never had before in a restaurant Restaurant, very fine and delicious. I definitely recommend the Am Bühnsee restaurant in Malsch! The first impression of the typical "community-style" charm is completely offset by the staff, and the food makes up for it all. I'd be happy to go back and give it a thumbs up. ”

“ Tasty food, nice service, portions adjusted to the client, and from time to time there is an Italian evening, the restaurateur invites a musician who leads the whole evening in the rhythm of Italian music from the previous era. Then you can also dance like in the old days at discos. I recommend this restaurant, I like the whole decor and the beautiful surroundings of the green park. You can eat here, and enjoy the pleasant surroundings. ”

“ We've been delighted guests for over 7 years – and it never gets boring! This restaurant is our absolute favorite: beautifully situated right on the lake, with a stylish ambiance and a large terrace that's simply a dream in the summer. The food is always of the highest quality – fresh, creative, and prepared with love. The quality is top-notch from start to finish. Added to that is the attentive, warm service that makes every visit special. The regular events are also particularly nice – always lovingly organized and with a great atmosphere. An all-around harmonious experience – we absolutely love coming here and can only recommend it to everyone! ”

“ We spontaneously decided to visit on a Thursday evening and unfortunately found ourselves ahead of a larger group ordering à la carte. Despite this, the wait was manageable, especially since we still had salad from the buffet. The food was delicious. I had the filet mignon with Spätzle (€23), and my companion had the Käsespätzle (cheese Spätzle). The daily specials menu is generous, the portions are perfect for a big appetite, and the dessert selection is excellent. There were a few minor flaws with the food, but that's really nitpicking; it didn't quite reach the level of a full five stars. In short: a lovely and welcoming atmosphere, very friendly service, and truly excellent cuisine! Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back. ”

“ We've eaten at the "Am Bühnsee" restaurant several times throughout the year, including for the Christmas and Easter buffets. The quality and variety (at the buffet) are superb, the staff is very friendly, and the decorations are always appealing for both children and adults. We highly recommend the Christmas and Easter buffets, as well as the hot stone grill. But the rest of the food has always been delicious too. ”

“ Unfortunately, I've never had the chance to go before, but last night I finally made it to the often-recurring barbecue night at the "Am Bühnsee" restaurant in Malsch. And what can I say? The terrace was simply idyllic and peaceful (even though ALL the seats were taken), the service was very attentive, and you could tell the restaurant had decades of experience in the hospitality industry. But above all, what the chef/owner himself conjured up behind the grill: I've truly never had such delicious shish kebabs before, absolutely top quality, and beautifully presented dishes! We'll definitely keep it in mind and stop by more often (just like we do at the Deutscher Kaiser) The Bühnsee area might not be centrally located in town, but such a great atmosphere and truly excellent cuisine and menu shouldn't be overlooked in the future. Parking is available nearby... As always: form your own opinion, because tastes vary, and don't rely on word of mouth, which is unfortunately quite common and misguided in many places in Malsch. ”
